You heard correct!! The long awaited and somewhat intriguing Crab Racing is now on Tuesdays!!
Comedian/Undefeated Smorgasbord Champion, Haskel Daniel, will be calling the races and setting the odds
and TV personality Sophie Burton Rodriguez IV will be your bookie!!
You may have seen Sophie on Deal or No Deal. She holds briefcase number 24.

So.... How does this thing all work???
Each race will have 8 hermit crabs which start from the middle of a rectangle track.
There are finish lines at both ends. The first crab to only touch the tape on either side is the winner.
There is no 2nd or 3rd place, no quinellas or  trifectas, etc. Just one winner every race.
Each crab is assigned a number and a silly name.
Based on how the crabs have performed in previous races, Haskel will adjust the odds.
You don’t bet with real money. You use special Crowie mullah!
Crab money can be earned several different ways. When you buy drinks or food at The Crowie, you will receive some.
Haskel will also conduct games in between the races like Paper-Scissors-Rock, Breakdancing comps, best dressed
and will even give you bucks if you can have a continuous 5 minute conversation with Samara or Ami from Dubbo!!
You might even get free dosh if you are a good looking girl!!
Trying to chat up Sophie will lose you money!! As well as a sore head!!!
You take your crab dollars up to Sophie and place a bet. If your crab wins, just like at the TAB, you get more money back!
The person or team who has the most crab money at the end of all the races will win a decent in-house bar tab!!
